The EDRS system password policy and system are updated. The following changes are in effect.

• Passwords must be at least ten (10) characters long, and must have a combination of a lower case letter, upper case letter, number, and a special character (i.e. - @, !, %). Also the system will not allow the reuse of the password that was previously used (up to 6 versions prior).
• Users will be required to change password upon the next logon if the password is expired. User will have 30-days to change the expired password or the account will be locked. User then will be required to complete the OHSM Reporting Issue Form and OHSM will respond to you as soon as possible to unlock your EDRS account.
• Users can reset the password through a self-service portal. A reset password link is added to the login page. User can enter the username and email address in their profile to reset the password. An email with a link to reset password (valid for 24 hours) will be sent to the email address on record to initiate the password change process.
• When a new account is created, the new user will use the Reset Password feature utilizing the provided username and profile email address.
